In this he was ably assisted by his long-time companion, Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of disgraced media tycoon, Robert Maxwell, who died from suspected suicide when he fell overboard his yacht just as his decades-long theft from his employees’ funds to prop up his empire was being exposed. She is in jail for luring young girls to participate in the sex slave ring that they have constructed over decades. Donald Trump, a friend of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell wished her well when a journalist asked him about her criminal trial. She is in jail – more or less for ever.
In 2019 Epstein was arrested again and faced a catalogue of sexual abuse charges. He hang himself in his prison cell while awaiting trial.
