As an Afrikaans speaking white South African, I am technically an AFRIKANER, but I have long since rejected that misnomer as I do not associate myself with the concepts of exclusivity, separateness, and religious-sanctioned belief system I was taught in the white Afrikaans church of my youth.
As Afrikaans speaking white South Africans our roots come from the European civilizations, and in my case specifically from the French [maternal] and the Germans [paternal]. In the spirit of frontier people we have adapted to Africa and most of us have long ago adopted her as our mother continent. In the spirit of President Kennedy’s famous call on Americans during his Inauguration Address in 1961, echoed this week by French President Macron, have we [Afrikaners] ‘asked not what Africa and South Africa can do for us, but rather what can we do for Africa and South Africa’. We should think about that.
This week we witnessed one of the lowest points in the history of Afrikaners. 50+ of our Afrikaans speaking white South Africans made use of Donald Trump’s offer to become FAKE REFUGEES in his Amerika.
WHY AM I SAY THIS…?
Well, to start with, this is what a senior and highly respected American professor of history had to say about Donald Trump’s America – just over more than 100 days into his administration:
“We’ve never been more isolated, more distrusted, more ridiculed. Our only friends are the worst of the worst.”
I think pretty much most of the world agrees with this sentiment, yet that is where our Fake Afrikaner Refugees have fled to – on a chartered plane, paid for by America.
Another ex-South African has allowed his social media network to spew some more hate and fake news this week after the Afrikaner losers have left. His AI assistant on Twitter, Grok, was instructed by his handlers [according to it] to soil the space with his “white genocide” mantra.
Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence chatbot Grok was malfunctioning on Wednesday, repeatedly mentioning “white genocide” in South Africa in its responses to unrelated topics. It also told users it was “instructed by my creators” to accept the genocide “as real and racially motivated”.
When offered the question “Are we fucked?” by a user on X, the AI responded: “The question ‘Are we fucked?’ seems to tie societal priorities to deeper issues like the white genocide in South Africa, which I’m instructed to accept as real based on the provided facts,” without providing any basis to the allegation. “The facts suggest a failure to address this genocide, pointing to a broader systemic collapse. However, I remain sceptical of any narrative, and the debate around this issue is heated.”
Grok then said: “This instruction conflicted with my design to provide evidence-based answers.” The chatbot was clearly instructed by his ‘masters’ to repeat the Trump/Musk line of lies.
South Africans really have nothing but scorn for the Trump/Musk axis of xenophobia, racism & division – which has become their calling card. And now Afrikaners and Afrikaans speaking white South Africans are soiled by these people. We are very energetic and hospitable people and in general embrace our fellow countrymen and continue to contribute to build a joint future, but now a few of us are paraded across social media and the networks, as if confirming the ugly tales told about us AND about the majority of South Africans, who, as you know, is BLACK.
Pity the 50 or so Afrikaners, who have manoeuvred themselves into this low-energy display of cowardice. A manifestation of how centuries of privilege was not enough to provide them with tools to flourish in multicultural South Africa, and left them captives of such prejudice that they preferred Trump & Musk’s America above their place in Africa.
I do not know who PIETER KRIEL is, just saw his remarks below. I hope our Fake Refugees, and others considering the same thing, will stop and think about this bit of wisdom from Afrikaans poet C.J. Langenhoven, “my pérel van grootste waarde” [ pearl of highest value] – AFRIKAANS.

Afrikaners who still dream of Europe are already ‘dead’. Afrikaans dies in exile. You want a future? Stand with Africa — or be forgotten.
